Salford is home to Media City, a rapidly growing hub for TV and media work and the largest outside London. The BBC has built its northern base here and is now the home of BBC Breakfast, Sport and 5live. An impressive Tudor house with its origins dating back to 1177, you can tour the house and view its exhibits.
