Surrey car hire

Once you’ve picked up your cheap rental car, you can take to the road and explore some of the major attractions of Surrey. England’s oldest recorded village, Abinger Common, is in Surrey and has dwellings dating back more than 7,000 years. There is also a characterful cafe called Cromwell Coffee House, which is in a historic, beamed building dating from the 1560s.

The Surrey County Show in May is the largest one-day agricultural show in the country. The event takes place in Stoke Park Guildford and features hundreds of animals, competitions and rural crafts. In June you’ve got the Investec Derby at Epsom Downs Racecourse, one of Surrey’s most notable race meetings.

On the last bank holiday in August, it is the Wings and Wheels event at the Dunsfold Aerodrome - a five-hour air show and two-hour motor show that attracts more than 40,000 spectators. In September, the Game and Country Fair takes place at Loseley Park, just outside Guildford, where you can take part in clay shooting, watch gun dogs, falconry, terrier racing and sheep dog trials.
