Flights to Austria

You can fly into six Austrian airports on scheduled and charter services departing from the UK...

The most popular destination is the capital Vienna (VIE), to which flights take around two hours. British Airways and Austrian Airlines depart several times daily from Heathrow with additional BA services from Gatwick. Low-cost airline easyJet departs from Gatwick, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh and Luton. And Jet2 takes off from Edinburgh and Manchester. You can also take connecting services with KLM, Air France and Lufthansa via Amsterdam, Paris and Frankfurt or Munich.

Salzburg (SZG) has departures in the ski season from around the UK with carriers such as TUI, alongside easyJet and Jet2 (from Birmingham). BA also flies from London.  In summer months you can only really get there with easyJet and BA.

Innsbruck (INN) can be reached year round with easyJet, which departs from Gatwick, Luton and Bristol, and British Airways from Gatwick with. There are also seasonal ski charters with carriers such as TUI.

Klagenfurt (KLU), Graz (GRZ) and Linz (LNZ) are not served by any direct flights from the UK. However, you can reach them via Vienna on Austrian or on selected Lufthansa services via Munich or Frankfurt.
