Flights to Reykjavik

National carrier Icelandair has twice-daily direct flights to Keflavik from London Heathrow (LHR) all year. British Airways offers the same route: once a day in winter and four times per week during summer.

There are numerous cheap flights to Reykjavik’s Keflavik Airport from London Gatwick (LGW). WOW air covers the route twice a day all year. Fellow low-cost brand easyJet has a daily winter service, and then two or three weekly departures from May to October, while Icelandair is almost the reverse: daily in summer, and once or twice per week over the colder months. Norwegian and TUI operate two or three departures a week in winter (November to March) only.

From Luton (LTN) there are six easyJet services each week to Keflavik between May and October, and daily ones otherwise. The airline also flies from Stansted (STN) in winter, operating three times a week.

There are three weekly WOW air departures from Edinburgh (EDI), while easyJet covers the same route twice weekly in summer, and five times a week during winter. From Glasgow (GLA) the only option is Icelandair – daily in summer and four times per week in winter.

From Manchester Airport (MAN), easyJet has year-round services, as does Icelandair. TUI covers the same journey, but only during winter.

Icelandair also operates between Birmingham (BHX) and Reykjavik, and Belfast City Airport (BHD).

Winter-only regional flights to Reykjavik depart from Belfast International (BHX) with easyJet, Bristol (BRS) with WOW air and easyJet, and East Midlands (EMA) with TUI.

With many more services operating during winter, this is the best time to book cheap flights to Reykjavik. The long days of summer are when fares are steepest.

For the cheapest Reykjavik flight fares, look to travel in November or March.
