Compare Orlando flights

There are no direct flights to Orlando from London Heathrow, but if you’re based in the capital you can fly direct from Gatwick instead. The flight will normally take around 9 hours and 20 minutes, or less if you’re flying from another UK city.

If you go for a flight with a stopover, your journey time could be significantly longer. Popular locations for stopovers on routes from the UK to Orlando include Amsterdam and Fort Lauderdale.

It’s rarely worth stopping over. For the most part you’ll find that direct flights to Orlando from the UK are not much more expensive than those with a break in the middle – and in many cases, they’re actually cheaper.

As this is already a long route, adding a stopover can mean spending the best part of 24 hours in transit.

You’ll also have the chance to explore some of the other highlights of central Florida, from the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral to the affluent coastal city of St Petersburg. Meanwhile, half a day's drive south will bring you to the vast wilderness of the Everglades.
