Sipping rum cocktails at a beach bar, tucking into delicious Bajan cuisine, and relaxing on a poolside sun-lounger without a care in the world – all this awaits you on an all-inclusive holiday to beautiful Barbados. Whether you’re looking for a luxurious couples getaway or a relatively cheap holiday with the whole family in tow, the island’s resorts have your every need and want covered.
You will find most of Barbados’ all-inclusive resorts on its west and south west coasts, dotted along dreamy white-sand beaches. Here are some of the best places to stay on the Caribbean island.
In the south west parish of Christ Church, the fishing town of Oistins has a range of all-inclusive hotels close to the beach. Take a yoga class before breakfast and spend the rest of the day on a sun-lounger, or hire a kayak or snorkel to explore the coastline. Later, sip rum punch over an evening of in-resort entertainment.
Also in Christ Church, Hastings’ all-inclusive resorts cater to everyone, with activities for all ages and restaurants for all tastes. Go snorkelling, book a treatment at the spa, learn to windsurf, or play some beach volleyball. Or for a lazier day, simply soak up the sun between visits to the swim-up bar.
Nicknamed the “platinum coast” for its world-class beaches and extravagant vibes, St. James is a popular choice for a luxurious all-inclusive getaway. Dine on delicious Bajan cuisine, indulge in reviving spa days, take dips in the freshwater pool, or stroll to the beach for a scenic swim.

From fun activities for kids of all ages to handy babysitting services that give you a few hours of freedom, all-inclusive resorts in Barbados are well set up for an easy-going family holiday in the sun.
Resort towns in Christ Church offer plenty of choice for family-friendly all-inclusive stays, with many hotels conveniently just a short hop from the international airport – think less time travelling and more time relaxing.
In and around Hastings you’ll find resorts with crèches and kids’ clubs for little ones, and cool spaces and activities for teens hankering for a little taste of freedom. While they’re busy having fun, you can snooze in a shaded hammock or pull up a seat at the beach bar. And when you want some family time, take paddle boards or kayaks out onto the warm Caribbean waters.
There are more all-inclusive resorts further south, along the coast in Oistins. Expect supervised kids’ clubs and games lounges, rum tasting sessions, and opportunities to get in a round of golf at a nearby course.
Don’t miss Oistins’ famous Friday night Fish Fry, where you and your brood can feast on fresh tuna, mahi-mahi, swordfish and lobster as you soak up the lively atmosphere.

Ensure your romantic trip to Barbados is as stress-free as possible, with all your needs taken care of at an all-inclusive resort.
Upmarket St. James is a stellar location, with an appealing selection of adults-only hotels available. Here you can unwind with a couple’s Swedish massage before emerging fully rested and ready for an evening of Caribbean cuisine and bottomless cocktails.
After waking up in the comfort of your hotel, head to the beach for water-skiing or catamaran sailing. In the afternoon, indulge with à la carte dining or a buffet, ahead of cocktails and live music in the evening. Ask at the front desk to find out how to visit the historic city of Holetown.
There are all-inclusive resorts in Christ Church too, such as the Soco Hotel – which is adults only – and the Coconut Court Beach Hotel. Think charming rooms with sublime ocean views, tea and treats by your hotel pool, and easy access to the beach. If you want to pop out in the evening, you’re only a ten-minute drive from the lively bars of St. Lawrence Gap.
If you prefer to stay in ‘the Gap’, there are all-inclusive hotels in this area that are perfect for couples. Expect luxurious rooms, international cuisine, evening entertainment and unforgettable experiences such as scuba diving.
