Top all-inclusive resort towns in Bali

Bali’s all-inclusive resorts serve up wellness in spades. Think silent retreats, guided meditation, yoga and traditional massage. But if you prefer to party or snooze on a sunlounger, there’s a resort town here for you too. Here are three of the best.

Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua is Bali’s luxury all-inclusive capital, and offers plenty of choice when it comes to accommodation. Book into the resorts that line its sandy shores for outdoor therapy tubs, private beachfront dining and more high-tempo pursuits like beach volleyball, tennis and fitness classes.

Kuta

Book a room on Kuta’s coast for uninterrupted ocean views, 24/7 all-inclusive service, traditional spa treatments and an oasis of calm in Bali’s party capital. When you’re not soaking up the serenity of your resort, join the fun-loving tourists in Kuta’s bars, markets and intriguing backstreets. Kuta is also well-known for its excellent surf spots, so hire a board and dive right in.

Ubud

From the free-roaming forest monkeys and the tranquillity of its jungle waterfalls to its reputation as Bali’s yoga capital, Ubud is the place to be for an authentic Balinese experience and a little spiritual awakening – all-inclusive style, of course. Take time to visit the town, too. Its traditional stalls, shrines and holy sites encapsulate the essence of the island.

All-inclusive beach holidays in Bali

Bali has a stretch of shore for everyone. There are calm coves, shallow seas, watersports and busy beachfronts bustling with locals. That so many are lined with luxurious all-inclusive resorts is the icing on top.

With rows of resorts around its half-mile bay, Nusa Dua is an obvious first choice. The shallows lapping the beach are perfect for starfish- and crab-spotting. When you’re not being pampered by the poolside, free resort bike rental makes it easy to explore the coastal temples and crashing waves and plumes of the Waterblow.

Tanjung Benoa is another fantastic spot by the sand. Its all-inclusive hotels offer oceanfront infinity pools, five-star international cuisine, health clubs and exclusive beaches. Furthermore, Tanjung Benoa is located on a sandy peninsula, putting it in prime position for scuba diving, parasailing, banana boating and much more.

Kuta’s beaches are a little more high tempo. But between the all-day buzz of its bars, the narrow market streets and the ever-present surfers, you’ll discover plenty of secluded sandy spots to relax. And when you’re ready to retire from the real world, all-inclusive comfort is never far away.

All-inclusive couples’ holidays in Bali

Bali’s world-famous natural beauty means romance is everywhere you look. And its selection of all-inclusive resorts are perfect for reconnecting, from wellness retreats, watersports and private beaches, you’re sure to find a place you’ll both love.

To unlock your spiritual side, book into a retreat in the jungle uplands for yoga, panchakarma detox treatments and al fresco dining with views across rainforest and rice paddies. Resorts run regular shuttles to beautiful Ubud, too, where upscale restaurants and bars provide a special setting for date night.

On the exclusive north coast, an all-inclusive infinity pool is the perfect place to switch off from the world. Or you could enhance your tropical island experience with a couples' massage or spa treatment. And when you feel like a little adventure, sign up for your resort’s fishing or sightseeing tours.

If you want an incredible all-inclusive experience alongside some of the best surfing in the world, Kuta, on the south coast, is a dream. Here, a personal chef will cook for you on your private terrace while staff transform your villa’s bathroom into a spa with aromatic oils, candlelit bathtubs and your favourite wine, perfectly chilled.
