You can leave umbrellas and raincoats behind when you travel to Cala Millor between May and October – you’re unlikely to see a drop of rain in these prime holiday months. Average daily temperatures climb above 20C in May and don’t fall below that level until late October. July and August see the peaks in temperatures - and tourist numbers - with hot days of 30C+.

Nit de Foc (Night of Fire); June: The main events during this annual fiesta are held in Palma, which is an hour by road from Cala Millor. Get there if you can, as this fiery display is a stunner, although you can still catch a lively show of bonfires and fire demons in Cala Millor.

Festes del Turista (Tourist Festival); last week of September: Markets, sporting events, parades, live music, guided walks… there is much to see and do during a holiday in Cala Millor when this annual event gets underway.

Bahia de Cala Millor; October: Arrive late in the holiday season and witness the sky above Cala Millor fill with hot-air balloons during this annual regatta. Teams from across Europe arrive to compete.
