Make sure you book a hotel with air-conditioned rooms if you plan to travel to Sousse in summer, as daytime temperatures can range between 30C and 40C. The coastal breeze keeps things pleasant, but feeling hot and sticky is guaranteed in July and August, when the mercury rarely drops below 20C even at night. Spring and autumn draw those looking for temperatures closer to 20C, while daytime temperatures of around 17C are common during the winter in Sousse.
